Ellis Ludwig-Leone is a 21-year-old composer, film scorer, and producer from Berkley, Massachusetts. He studies composition under Kathryn Alexander and Michael Klingbeil at Yale University and has studied music production at the Berklee College of Music. Ellis's compositions have been featured in galleries and festivals in New York City, Boston, New Haven, Paris, Brazil, and most recently, the 2009 Art Basel Festival at Miami Beach. He works for the independent label New Amsterdam Records, and has worked on projects for Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond, Gil Scott Heron, Lawson White, and William Brittelle. He is also a front man for the alternative rock group Gets the Girl, whose music has been played on Connecticut's popular rock radio station 104.1 FM and featured on the blog Hype Machine.
